Ha een weerpraatje
Shall I be a fair weather friend, my mind wonders
On a night quite unenchanting
when the rain came downward slanting
I was woken by the ranting
of my mind gone up the wall
Winter' s weeping never ending
in my room I am left standing
Mental multiple meand'ring
Jump up and off the wagon - fall
Winter's whims do not endear me !
Cannot snowwhite cold a-cheer me
Raven rains too cannot gear me
Solely sun, hot ten feet tall
Winter's sweeps are bound to falter
Summer sounds are due to mould her
With greyhound speed all leafs unfold her
Vanity fairness at the ball
Wilted weeds will turn to flowers
Rose's seeds grow tall as towers
Gone be all white powder showers
Snowed now on a strawberry bowl
Whips will turn to gentle breezers
And hay ! fever us with sneezers
Hachoo hail to heavy breathers
Summer's hell has lots in mall
Pollen pulls no sucker punches
Noses sniffsnuff tissue crunches
Red eyed puffy tears in bunches
Winter felt not bad at all!
Ps.. maybe next year we could say "summer sounds are due to mole her " ;-) Well, hope springs eternal hm..?!
