Ik heb een aantal niet-Nederlandstalige Facebook vrienden die deze reeks dankzij jullie aan het volgen zijn. Maar ik heb ze de link naar dit topic nog niet doorgestuurd, want de eerste pagina is al volledig in het Nederlands. Dus ik vraag me af of ze er dan iets aan hebben om hier te komen.

Maar de youtube filmpjes met ondertitels zijn zeker een succes. Eén van m'n facebook vrienden heeft ook een realitysite en heeft de filmpjes op zijn site gezet, waar ook weer een aantal mensen deze reeks beginnen volgen zijn.

If we want to have a topic to talk about the series in English, perhaps we should rename this topic to 'English-language topic about WIDM12 (incl. links to subtitled eps)' or something like that. If Supernova also agrees, maybe the mods can change that?

I thought that was the meaning of this whole topic. That's why I mentioned it. I don't know if my friends will actually come here, but I can always suggest it to them.

That was the meaning of this topic in fact. 
Unfortunately some people started talking about not so related stuff in Dutch.
I would suggest that we would keep the discussion in English from now on, to invite anyone who likes to join us in discussing it here.

I wouldn't mind changing the topic title. 

Oh and Robbie, that's great news! I'm happy your friends are enjoying the series and 'spreading the word' so to speak! 
The first episode had hundreds of views already and some people on youtube and international fora respond within minutes after posting them or in fact say they are anxiously awaiting the next episode.

Ohh you have no idea how many times I thought the exact same thing!   
Funny how you don't notice this until you start trying to subtitle..

Horace was a bit of a nightmare last year too because he swallowed so many words or basically spoke in semi sentences (i.e. not finishing them) at all..
Don't get me wrong, I loved him as a contestant, but you don't always notice things like this until you try to convey what some people are actually saying.

Ik wil langs deze weg even aan iedereen die bij dit project helpt laten weten : Namens veel internationale volgers, erg bedankt!
Ik krijg bijna dagelijks berichten van mensen die ons bedanken voor de gedane moeite, en ook dikwijls complimenten voor de kwaliteit van de vertalingen, o.a. van een Amerikaan die toevallig ook goed Nederlands spreekt. Hij zei dat de vertalingen 'spot on' waren. 

Nogmaals allemaal zeer bedankt voor alle tijd die jullie erin steken, om dit project tot een succes te maken. 


I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone who's involved with this project know: Many thanks by many of our international followers.
I get messages on boards, you tube and via pm almost on a daily basis from people thanking us for all the effort we're doing as well as compliments for the quality of the subtitles. Amongst others by American who speaks Dutch almost fluently. He mentioned the subtitles being 'spot on' in his opinion.

Ik vond dit commentaar van één van de internationale volgers n.a.v. het beruchte moment aan het einde van aflevering 9 wel geestig. 

I thought this comment of one of the international followers with respect to the notorious moment at the end of episode 9 was rather funny. 

@ClickyPencil I could always be wrong (which I always am! ^_^).
I think Anne Marie's genuine excitement at final four and I think Liesbeth's 'disappointment face' in the clip eiminates either as The Mole. Or the below happens...
